Art Exhibit and Wine!

Our newly completed tasting room is the setting for a beautiful exhibit of original artwork.  Several striking pencil sketches and a large watercolor portrait of a young woman sipping wine on a French terrace are among the works by Joan Ventimiglia, an accomplished artist.
Enjoy feasting your eyes on these lovely framed works while you sip and sample our wines.

Columbus Day Weekend Tastings

On Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, the Tasting Room will be open for visits. In Sussex County, the fall foliage has been beautiful for a week or so, and by Columbus Day weekend the ride to our farm will be delightful! Experience the raw, rustic beauty of the "new world" as something similar to the views Christopher Columbus saw when stepping off the "Santa Maria" in 1492! Pack a picnic lunch and some folding chairs...be sure to wear your walking shoes for an enjoyable hike through the woods or in the vineyards on our 50-acre farm. Bring home some of our delicious wine made in the traditional, European style!

Fall Schedule

The harvest time is upon us! Grapes are ripening, and the vineyards need attention. Harvesting, crushing, tending the crushed grapes, pressing, barreling … lots of clean up and caretaking add up to long, busy days!

Our “Open Hours for tastings and tours” are scheduled for the following dates and times:

Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008           noon to 5:00 pm
Sunday, Oct 12, 2008              noon to 5:00 pm
Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008           noon to 5:00 pm
Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008            noon to 5:00 pm
Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008 *       noon to 5:00 pm
Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008 *       noon to 5:00 pm

* weather permitting … Sussex gets icy and snowy.

During these “Open Hours”, you are welcome to come to the tasting room for wine tastings. You may bring folding chairs and picnic lunch to enjoy the rustic beauty of our farm. (Remember your insect repellent, or ask us for some if you plan to hike the trails). Cellar tours are also offered as time and space permit. Gene, the wine maker, loves to show others the hand crafted, traditional wine making operation.
